AUGUST PLOT: A LOVELY TRIP TO PLANET 10952.EG.K
Arrival on EG.K is non-eventful; one will find themselves about a five minute walk away from the closest village on a very flat planet. The purple and turquoise grass waves in the near-constant warm breeze under a rosy pink sky, and while the sun seems far too close to the planet for comfort, the semi-cloudy nature of the planet means one can see far into the distance without squinting constantly.
EG.K is currently a delightful 23.9 degrees in Universal Standard Temperature, dipping down to 15.5 UST at night. Visitors to the planet can expect clear skies and no rain or storms for the week. Occasional winds up 50 MPH are present, but not constant.
Make friends with the locals, take a swim in a lake, actually do whatever it is you came here to begin with - whatever it is, enjoy your week on this charming and uneventful planet!

the journey itself was a little strange, without any companionship he found himself talking to himself and glancing over his shoulder like someone may be there. ]
Loki without Ikol, Leah or Thori, how dully odd.
[ it was still a lot to get used to--but he was alive, and he couldn't deny that despite the awkward pit of loneliness in his gut, that he was somewhat satisfied. finding out what to do about it was the next step. it left him with a sick pit in his stomach.
saving a few worlds in the process made it all the better. ]
Onward, eh? What would Thor do? Save the universe, of course.
[ and he head into the village, rhetoric and most convincing smile ready. ]
no subject
as if that isn't familiar enough, right?well there's nothing else that really pulls Megatron's interest. glorious organic landscapes? pass, thank you. playing around in the water or behave like someone freshly sparkedaka Rodimus and occassionally Drift? not really interested in that either.besides, he's supposed to be on the path of making amends as it were. this seems like a good way to keep on tack.
that's why he's out heading towards the village as well. while Megatron could just walk there, he supposes, there's something to be said about moving about in alt mode. Megatron has had many throughout the ages, but there's something satisfying about using his original one.
have fun with a massive tank coming up behind you there, Loki. doesn't seem like he's too inclined to stop. ]
no subject
[ that's a giant tank.
most definitely a giant tank moving toward him.
this was unexpected as unexpected could get (er, loosely, actually. there could be more unexpected, but generally a tank on a foreign planet barreling toward him while he held some kind of gem of infinite galaxies--or such--inside of him was pretty far on the unexpected side). ]
Oh, Hel.
[ and he's off as fast as his little legs will carry him. ]
Don't run me over don't run me over don't run me over don't run me over!
[ he says over and over, until it's a mantra. ]
no subject
And have to pick an organic out of my treads? Perish the thought.
[ sassy!Megs is sassy. ]
no subject
You're one of those robots with the gift of transformation.
[ there's a little phew once he's out of range, whether or not Megatron intends on bowling him over. ]
Is this the extent of your capabilities?
[ he hurries up at a jog beside him, trying to see if he can hitch a ride. ]
no subject
though he's pretty sure that Rodimus doesn't much care for them too much.]'Gift of transformation.' It's been a while since I've heard it put like hat.
[ religious people usually did. Adaptus and all of that. and Megatron isn't oblivious to what that running likely means. thus he is going to save them the trouble of beating around the bush and simply stop. he isn't going to tell Loki anything. it's up to the kid to know to jump on. ]
To answer your question? Hardly. It is the tip of the metaphorical iceberg.
no subject
everyone in the Nine Realms was going to be jealous. ]
Kinda like a shapeshifter.
Kinda.
[ Loki was one of those, too, but he hadn't quite found his taste for it yet. he didn't have all that much power that he could really pack in his tiny form, and playing with it also gave legitimacy to the person he once had been. he vouched to use his wit to guide him for the most part. ]
There seem to be many of you robotic shapeshifters. Have you a name, perhaps a title?
no subject
We are Cybertronians. It was said that the god Adaptus was the one that created us and gave us our other forms.
[ so no. not really shape shifters. ]
There are quite a few of us here, yes. Drift, Starscream, and Rodimus are, by far, the loudest of us. I am Megatron.
[ actually TALKING to an organic. who knew... ]
no subject
[ he chirps as they ride along. he doesn't seem to have any trouble keeping his kid fingers latched on, even across the questionable terrain. ]
That means many of those here must be your buddies, right?
[ all robots are buddies. ]
Wing told me of the war.
Or, ah ... lotsa wars.
no subject
[ Starscream doesn't typically do anything without gaining something from it. anyway the comment about buddies... that makes him snort and he dismisses the question entirely. ]
Wing doesn't actually know of the war. He didn't participate in it. I, on the other hand, was on the frontlines so to speak.
no subject
[It's probably not the best way to start talking to someone, but it's kinda rare to hear someone talking about - well, something not alien or space related.]
[Myths, she can do. At least vague names when it comes to the Scandinavian sort.] Thor. Norse, right?
no subject
Aye, Asgard's Champion, the Thunderer. [ he perks up just a little bit, there weren't many here that knew of Norse myth. not like on Earth. this was both a pleasant and possibly discouraging realm of conversation. ] You know of him? [ he gestures as he speaks, a curious, fourteen year old boy enthusiasm in his voice at the prospect. ]
no subject
Of him, yeah. The basics. Greek mythology's, uh, kind of more my thing. [That's one way to put it.]
no subject
The Olympians once held ally with the Asgardians against those that would harm Earth. [ he swings his arms before holding them behind his back. he wasn't exactly there for that, but Thor's adventures with Hercules run deep. (even the dreaded purple nurple, that was a story for the ages.) ] I suppose the of would be only natural.
no subject
Doesn't sound like it's the same... Earth. [Which she's getting much better at wrapping her head around.] No attacking aliens, at least to my knowledge. [And there's a bit of an implication that she has a lot of that.]
The Norse gods are real, where you're from? [She definitely sounds curious there, though.]
no subject
Of course they're real. Ideas are very real! [ he's nudging a very sinister looking rock with his toe. ] Are they real where you come from?
no subject
But are they just ideas, or manifestations of culture too? [Annabeth hesitates for a moment, but really, there doesn't seem any harm in admitting it right now, especially since he's just said the Norse are real for him.] Yeah. The Greeks and Romans, at least.
no subject
And you know about them, that's great!
[ she's gotten his attention. he's heard the stories—he may not have been around for all of them, but the ones that weren't in the records of the Asgardian library were definitely told in a grand sense around the pillars of Asgardia. (not without Volstagg's determination to insert himself into everything.)
now, to approach this subtly ... ]
So ... um ... how do you know them, anyway? You've met them? Hercules, maybe? My brother knew him.
no subject
[But she should really probably talk with Nico about how they want to handle the whole demigod thing. Annabeth's too used to keeping that on the down low.]
I met Hercules in passing. He was kind of a jerk. [One of Piper's finest moments, drowning him in ham.] I've met the Twelve Olympians though, and Hades too. [Among others.]
[Casually skipping over the how she knows them for now?? Yes.] You meet any yourself?
no subject
if he catches on to the evasive maneuver, he doesn't say anything. ]
Er ... well ... the Warriors Three, Heimdall, seer of all, [ he begins to tick off of on his fingers. ] the Lady Sif, bearer of war ... of course there's my brother, the Thunderer, you could say ... and, ah, my adoptive mothers ...
[ he never really kept that he was a god a secret. ]
And the All-Father, but it's been a while since he left.
no subject
[She'll come back to everything else in a moment, but it's the brother comment that pings her first.]
Thor's your brother? [There's a two second pause.] Are you a demigod? [It's where her first thought goes, because that's what she's used to - especially when it comes to dealing with teenagers.]
no subject
What? No—I'm a god, duh. Nothing demi about it.
[ of course he had some special circumstances. he had been reborn in a particular image after a very convoluted plan that ultimately led to a former life's demise. so, it was a bit awkward to see such a young god, especially one that reigned over such an abstract concept such as chaos. ]
You know, not of the folk! A child of Asgard!

Or attempt to destroy it, depending on his mood.
[ She replies, brushing past the child on her way to find something interesting in the village, although she sincerely doubts it. ]
no subject
so he decides to follow her. ]
Though I admit that he can be a bit temperamental, I don't think it would be in his interest to destroy this place. Or anyone's interest, really, even Odin on a bad day—and I've seen his good days.
[ he's keeping an eye out as he does so, perking up when he hears the wind pick up, or the sound of something possibly skittering along. his voice gets hushed, but theatrical enough that he thinks he's in a movie or something. ]
It's awfully quiet.

I wasn't aware they acted on interest rather than whims.
( Asgardians. They're a race Gamora has very little interest in and knowledge about - Thanos had made sure to include them in her lessons as understanding the greater cosmic universe, but was generally unconcerned with. Not her thing. )
They must have left the moment they heard you talking.
