AUGUST PLOT: A LOVELY TRIP TO PLANET 10952.EG.K
Arrival on EG.K is non-eventful; one will find themselves about a five minute walk away from the closest village on a very flat planet. The purple and turquoise grass waves in the near-constant warm breeze under a rosy pink sky, and while the sun seems far too close to the planet for comfort, the semi-cloudy nature of the planet means one can see far into the distance without squinting constantly.
EG.K is currently a delightful 23.9 degrees in Universal Standard Temperature, dipping down to 15.5 UST at night. Visitors to the planet can expect clear skies and no rain or storms for the week. Occasional winds up 50 MPH are present, but not constant.
Make friends with the locals, take a swim in a lake, actually do whatever it is you came here to begin with - whatever it is, enjoy your week on this charming and uneventful planet!

[She'll come back to everything else in a moment, but it's the brother comment that pings her first.]
Thor's your brother? [There's a two second pause.] Are you a demigod? [It's where her first thought goes, because that's what she's used to - especially when it comes to dealing with teenagers.]

What? No—I'm a god, duh. Nothing demi about it.
[ of course he had some special circumstances. he had been reborn in a particular image after a very convoluted plan that ultimately led to a former life's demise. so, it was a bit awkward to see such a young god, especially one that reigned over such an abstract concept such as chaos. ]
You know, not of the folk! A child of Asgard!

[She does blink once though. Not many choose to appear so young (Artemis and Hestia come to mind first). If she was more familiar with Norse mythology, she'd be in a better position to make a guess. Besides, there's no telling if he's even an original part of the pantheon or someone who ascended later.]
Which god?
[And if this place is capable of dragging in gods - could it bring in worse? She tries not to think about that, doesn't want her chest to tighten up over thought of something like Tartarus itself appearing here.]

[ he doesn't exactly look huffy, but there's always a good excuse for being put-out. he straightens his voice a little but and tugs down his hood. he cocks his hip just a little bit, enough to be a tad too theatrical for the situation, and continues smoothly. he had to at least appear confident, considering who he was. (but then he was always a little terrified to admit it, with so much negativity circulating.) ]
Loki.
Well-met, er ... well-met to who?
[ let's just seamlessly move into the other introduction, yes? yes. ]

Loki. [She repeats it while she mulls it over. Norse never felt as life or death as the Greek stuff did.] The trickster. [Gods taking smaller sizes isn't unusual but she stops herself before flat out asking. This time. Though it's pretty clear she's curious about something.]
[A beat, after his own question finally clicks.] I'm Annabeth.

Loki, the tricksteriest trickster this side of Asgard!
[ like it's a cool thing to say. ]
All appropriate pleasantries extended, Lady Anna-Beth.

[And then she makes a face.] No, it's together. One word. Annabeth.
