( Gamora knows her way around the station like the back of her hand, and while some things are different - her quarters are gone and there's no area set up for the Guardians - it's still Knowhere. What she doesn't expect to find on Knowhere is a Terran staring into space, however, as empty as the head seemed to be at the moment.

And then she hears what the woman says, and snorts. )

You're not going to find those just by looking out a window.

( Look at how helpful she's being! )

[The voice makes her turn, eyes widening briefly as she sees... yep. That's a green lady.]

No? That's a shame. Here I thought in dreamland I could get whatever I wanted. Guess I'm dairy-deprived.

[gamora]

'Dreamland'. ( A disinterested and demeaning snort. Gamora isn't about dealing with Terrans right now - there's enough on her mind as it is. ) It has a name.

( Which she is not going to offer willingly. )

Yeah, Nod. Or something like that. Wasn't it Nod? Pretty sure sleepy land was the land of Nod.

You're asking the wrong person about Terran references.

( She knows about Christmas! And that's about it. )

[Where had she heard that? Oh, right. Space movies. Great. Fiction was reality now.]

I guess so. So... where exactly do you come from?

[gamora]

Here. ( That's not what the other woman asked, however, and Gamora smirks. ) You wouldn't know the planet. But before I was dragged here I was planning on returning to a different version of Knowhere.

You're right, I probably wouldn't. I also don't really get the different version reference. Is there another giant floating head out there?

[gamora]

Unlikely. Celestials don't normally make a habit out of being decapitated.

( Another shrug, and she turns her attention back to the view. )

And a celestial is? What, this isn't a giant theme station? Because the idea of... what, something real floating around out there with all this in their head and them being alive? Weird.
