Trying to feel invincible
Who: Optimus and Rodimus
What: Optimus and Rodimus have a heart to heart about being a Prime.
When: After the poetry post, it's been awhile coming though.
Where: Observation Deck
Thanks to Optimus's own observation, the timelines not quite adding up, and some nudging from Megatron, Drift and Wing, the Prime thought it best to have a conversation with his charge. Something he should have done in the Dead Universe, but the time hadn't been right. His advice...he thought it was what was needed.
That it was all Rodimus needed.
However, Rodimus wasn't like him, and Megatron pointed that out. That he idolized the Prime. And this set a new thought into him. The young bot needed guidance in a way he hadn't usually given. It was time to set things straight--to really look at Rodimus for what HE needed--not just what had worked out for Optimus at the time. And...well, to be honest, his choices weren't exactly great either.
Something he's slightly ashamed of.
But it's not about him, not today.
He decides the Observation Deck is the best place for this meeting. It's secluded, has a view they can both relate to, and...well. Maybe Optimus liked to be a little dramatic.
