What: Starscream is going to lurk around and see if he can nab anything useful for his own personal gain.



Starscream had to admit he was almost impressed at the large selection of products held within the marketplace. Of course, it was probably only natural considering all the various species who lived here. This made things both interesting and difficult.

He's going to have to get a bit creative when it comes to parts that he needs. Which actually wasn't the difficult part ... what was difficult is the financial side of things. He could barter like the best of them, but he had a feeling he's going to have to resort to some unethical methods for some stuff.

Not that he'd do it personally, but he could probably manipulate someone around the station. Already that Loki kid needed his help, so perhaps in return ...

Well, he'd have to think on that.

For now he decided he'd wander the various booths and sections to see what kind of energy sources are readily available.

And then he stops to stare at some fuzzy looking animals of a species he never saw before. They were round and had no facial features whatsoever. So maybe scientific curiosity got the best of him. And maybe he might have accidentally knocked a random organic into the cage just to see if the creature had some sort of hidden mouth and would try and eat the person.

Why not? Some of my best battles have been because of his involvement. A shame that we, as a race, cannot share battle scars.

[Megatron just ... laughing was a rare sight. So rare that he actually stops to look back at him.]

I don't know what's stranger, the fact that you made a joke or that you are trying to annoy me.

For you, I believe it is a bit of both. You seem to be able to handle a little more abuse than your other. Verbally, anyway.

Verbal abuse is nothing but words.

[Really. It'd take more than words to really get to him.]

I realize. Again, to your counterpart, words usually had a more lasting effect that the excess use of force.

[ but violence does help. then again, his mere presence is intimidating enough to his own Starscream. ]

I can't say either worked very well on me.

[Because no matter what ... he still tried to murder Megatron. Repeatedly.]

[ because goodness. this Starscream is far sassier and more outspoken than the other... ]

I'm sure nothing really surprises you, being the great former warlord of the Decepticon empire and all that.

Normally yes, I would boast such a claim. However, I might be taking back that statement, considering our present predicament.

Does this mean you are admitting that you are sometimes wrong?

[Well, that's actually almost unnerving. Megatron never admits to being wrong. That would mean he'd have to contain some sort of sense of humility.

So he just stares back for a moment, because this is all too surreal.]

If you were the Megatron I was more accustomed to, I'd say you've gone completely and utterly insane.

I thought he already was, from your apt description of him.

I mean more so than he already was ... or is, not wait was since he's dead and all.

[He better be dead. Starscream shot him personally. It would be a terrible thing to go back to his own universe and find him alive again. Which is what would happen because Starscream's life generally sucks.]

Dead? Ah, that explains the first look I received from you.

[ rubbing at his chin in thought... then he smirks. ]

Are are you so certain that he's dead?

I think there is a good possibility that he is dead dead.

[He stares at Megatron. Of course he'd bring up doubt on the matter.

Of course Megatron did have a habit of not really dying, but Starscream tried to hold on to a little bit of hope.]

Starscream, you do realize that hardly anyone stays dead, correct?

[ and that goes for most. expect Bumblebee apparently. 8( ]

Yes, but I'm trying to stay positive.

[Also to see how Megatron reacts to him talking about the death of his alternate.]

You can be positive all you want. It won't help you when he comes back.

[ a casual shrug. he knows what he'd do if the roles were reversed. oh wait... he HAS done something about that. ]

[He shrugs right back at Megatron.]

It wouldn't be the first time that's happened.
