AUGUST PLOT: A LOVELY TRIP TO PLANET 10952.EG.K

Arrival on EG.K is non-eventful; one will find themselves about a five minute walk away from the closest village on a very flat planet. The purple and turquoise grass waves in the near-constant warm breeze under a rosy pink sky, and while the sun seems far too close to the planet for comfort, the semi-cloudy nature of the planet means one can see far into the distance without squinting constantly.

EG.K is currently a delightful 23.9 degrees in Universal Standard Temperature, dipping down to 15.5 UST at night. Visitors to the planet can expect clear skies and no rain or storms for the week. Occasional winds up 50 MPH are present, but not constant.

Make friends with the locals, take a swim in a lake, actually do whatever it is you came here to begin with - whatever it is, enjoy your week on this charming and uneventful planet!

'Mister Fantastic'. What sort of weird fleshy name is that?

( TOO LATE. Coming from someone who was willing to trust the Decepticon named Swindle at some point in time. Bravo, Rodimus. )

We're not-- we're not robots, and no one built us.

( That's borderline offensive. He takes a step back, making a face as he brushes off some of the grass still stuck on his plating from his earlier jaunt with Drift. Ugh. Organic environments. There always seems to be something small enough to get stuck somewhere. )

Oh yeah? What's wrong with being built? [Sensitive clone problems.] And what kind of weird mechanical name is "Brainstorm," anyway?

[It actually sounds like a perfectly acceptable code name to her, but Nita's capable of being as petulant as Rodimus for brief periods of time. He can definitely beat her on endurance, though.

Also you are totally robots it says so right in your tagline.]

Everything when you think it means we're programmed by someone. ( C'mon Nita, that's just plain insulting. ) I'm not like Tyrest, if that's what you're thinking.

( It fits with the rest of the Headmasters. Highbrow, Chromedome, and Brainstorm. Duh. )

It wouldn't be weird if you knew him.

Who's Tyrest and why are you being such a jerk about robots?

[SOME OF HER BEST FRIENDS ARE...whatever it is Jim Hammond's supposed to be BUT "ROBOT" IS CLOSE SHE'S PRETTY SURE AND THEREFORE YOU ARE A GIANT JERK QED.]

Some nutjob who thought that everyone constructed cold deserved to die a terrible death because, uh, he's crazy? ( Short version. ) Because you're calling me one when I'm not! It's insulting. It's like- it's just wrong when applied to Cybertronians.

( Is that a whiff of space racism? It just might be. )

It's only an insult if it's a bad thing to be!

[She has never once freaked out at someone calling her human. Not once. Nita folds her arms and glares.]

Who'd want to be something preprogrammed with no free will? I'm alive and Cybertronians as a race have passed the Ambus test.

( Sorry Nita. )
