When: July 5th
Who: Loki | Open
Where: The Observation Deck
What: Being a creep, poking around, doing a thing.
[ after that particularly violent alien invasion escapade, Loki took it upon himself to be as nosey as possible. this included various trips through Knowhere's open areas, hiding discreetly around corners, eavesdropping, and generally being a nuisance to the locals. he's rather pleased with himself. there were still personal questions that needed to be answered on top of the "saving everyone" ones. he decided to vouch for the latter for the moment. ]
Ah, yes, attending to Loki business. Keeping the universe safe, I'm really in need of my own theme music.
[ he says wistfully, trailing his way up to the Observation Deck. he'd paid a few visits there after the battles had gone down. seeing the progress of rebuilding after the thwarted alien invasion was kind of cool. despite his usual loud presence, he was also pretty good at keeping himself out of sight and out of mind, especially among a lot that would kick him out if he caused too many peeps.
he enters, does a few three-sixty turns to get a good look at his surroundings (people, space people, things that have changed since he's last been there, convenient exits), and then goes to find a good place to use the deck in the appropriate fashion, which was purely an observational one. ]

Right now, though, he's just taking a look out at the stars. Reminding himself what the view from Knowhere should be like, and wondering just what might have changed out there.]

Loki, when put in a tight spot, has no problem approaching whoever on the fly, even if they don't look like they want to be approached. so, he does what's natural to his nature and he (drumroll, please) approaches. ]
Ah, Lord of All Stars, surveying the galaxy with a whimsical glance. Picture perfect, if I'd say so.

Peter has nothing against kids. This should be said. Of course, he also hasn't spent a lot of time around kids since he was a kid, with the exception of Cammi. And Cammi was (is) a little shit to the extreme.
She probably would have made Star-Lord jokes too, if she'd known that was his title. Then again, maybe she just would have kept calling him Cyborg Freak.]
Yes. Exactly. It's quiet. [Beat.] Too quiet. [And he has no idea he's quoting something.] This is all so very, very strange. [More to himself than to Loki.]

despite Peter's offhand comments about everything being "nice and quiet," Loki approaches with very big green eyes that most definitely assure Peter that he's definitely not going to be quiet. (maybe he'll get them both kicked out.) ]
What's strange? That you've suddenly come to the term with the concept that you don't lord over all the stars? Do you even lord over one?
[ there's a pause and he holds up a finger, straight up, uncaring of what star he's pointing to. ]
Do you lord over that one?
Ah, I bet you lost it ...
