AUGUST PLOT: A LOVELY TRIP TO PLANET 10952.EG.K
Arrival on EG.K is non-eventful; one will find themselves about a five minute walk away from the closest village on a very flat planet. The purple and turquoise grass waves in the near-constant warm breeze under a rosy pink sky, and while the sun seems far too close to the planet for comfort, the semi-cloudy nature of the planet means one can see far into the distance without squinting constantly.
EG.K is currently a delightful 23.9 degrees in Universal Standard Temperature, dipping down to 15.5 UST at night. Visitors to the planet can expect clear skies and no rain or storms for the week. Occasional winds up 50 MPH are present, but not constant.
Make friends with the locals, take a swim in a lake, actually do whatever it is you came here to begin with - whatever it is, enjoy your week on this charming and uneventful planet!

[In front of her is a laptop, white with a glowing blue Δ on the back, and she's typing away, reading over the screen at the same time. It almost looks like whatever she's doing, she can't do fast enough, and there's something possessive in her gaze and fingers. Right beside her is a sword, looking like it's made of some sort of bone, the handle close enough to grab in a second's notice.]
[In the middle of a wide open prairie planet?? Plenty to explore and see?? The clear solution is to be on a computer, obviously.]
[She's compiling her own information and thoughts, not that it's clear to conclude at all.]

She wasn't quite an expert hiker, but she had prepared as best she could for alien territory. It isn't long before she leaves the village behind in search for potential answers out here. What she wouldn't give for a decent library database or even a search engine to use that wasn't completely alien.
Strangely enough it's about that time that she notices the small campsite on the horizon. It would seem she wasn't the only one breaking away from the village.]

[She doesn't do much though - just keeps typing away on her laptop, though she'll watch the woman's approach out of the corner of her eye. It's not like campsites aren't tresspassable, though she does end up shifting into a seated position by the time the newcomer gets close enough for exchanging words without shouting them.]
[Not that she exactly starts a conversation herself either.]

The girl she approaches is obviously on guard, though not necessarily about to attack either. Setsuna nods politely in greeting.]
Sorry to disturb your peace. I'm only passing though. Mainly looking for more information.
[The girl doesn't look like the villagers though so Setsuna poses a further question.]
You're one of the others from Knowhere, correct?

[It's easier to get a look at the woman now, but that's just standard Annabeth, casing someone. It's a little worse here, with very little in the way of allies and Tartarus fresh in her mind.]
Yeah. You too, I assume? [It's not hard to infer from her own question. But it's nice to see someone who doesn't look like an alien for once.] There doesn't seem to be much more info out here, unfortunately.

It's certainly more private than the middle of a busy village or an even busier space station. Although perhaps the term solitary is more applicable.
[Not that it bothers her. She certainly prefers it to that kind of bustle.]
It's a good place to think...but it sounds like few leads are out here.
[She wishes finding information was easier. Moving back to the question though.]
Yes, I am. Setsuna Meioh.

[She nods.] Annabeth. Hi.

[She nods at the confirmation on solitude.]
I understand that very well actually. [She considers the statement and then decides to ask.] Have you thought of anything that could help us while we're out here?
[She asks the question in such a way that indicates she's only curious to find out if the girl has had any ideas. She's not really putting pressure on the girl or at least not meaning to.]

Sharp objects to kill people with? Yeah, she's interested. )
Get that in the marketplace? Didn't think they had anything fun in stock.
( She's tall, green, showing off more skin than most people, gesturing at Annabeth's sword with her own. )

Came with me from home, actually. It was here when I woke up in this place.
[If they weren't on a weird planet in space, and she weren't so tall, Annabeth would consider the woman some sort of wood nymph. Dryads are green, ok.]
[Definitely an alien though. The minimal clothing doesn't seem to bother her so much either. Growing up Greek™.]

( She peers closer at it, sheathing her own sword across her back to get it out of the way. Nothing pressing is happening, and she can take on whatever it is with her bare hands anyway. )

( Bracket text would go here, but it's two in the morning and I'm lazy so you can just imagine Gamora doing something here that's surprisingly unobtrusive and bland. For the moment. )
