[backdated] Like some Kid N Play video
Who: The Cybertronians and anyone else who might be nosy as to what all the large robots are doing together because why not.
What: Sharing resources houseparty?
When: Shortly after the robot network post excitement
Where Green 6, aka Wing's Swingin' Bachelor Pad
After Drift's post, Wing realized that as a knight, he had a mission, to help his people come together and find a way to coexist. Or else. And Drift had mentioned that they should pool resources. So, after double-checking with Drift, Wing sent a small message to each of the Cybertronians on the station to please meet him, this evening, in his quarters.
He wished food wasn't such a consideration here, because he felt bad not being able to lay out a spread of food for hospitality. Maybe they would all bring their own? He can hope. He has his few flight grade fuel rations on a table, just as, well, something.
As it is, he has soft music and subdued lighting, hoping they might defuse any, well, interpersonal tensions.
He stood by the door to greet his guests, with a silent prayer to the whole Guiding Hand, that this went well.
((OOC: This is a general robot shindig meet and greet and hopefully not punch each other. Feel free to post a header for your character for others to tag into--anywhere in Wing's quarters or the hallway or whatever; mess with his stereo, steal his towels, show up early, fashionably late, whatever you want! And of course, non-Cybertronian partycrashers welcome!))

Wing
He was keeping a watchful optic--he hoped watchful enough--on the gathering, and if he caught someone's gaze, he would offer a smile, and ask if they were having a nice time.

Speaking of grace, or perhaps the lack thereof, Drift ambles up to Wing and offers a grin. He's also offering his own rations to add to the pool, though those find their way onto the table of their own accord; thanks so much, gravity! Yeah, that trying to look casual thing he was going for? Not workin' out so well.
"Just, err, o-offering my supply. I hope it helps." For all its wobble, the grin doesn't falter entirely though. "Thank you. For hosting I mean."
look who finally reupped accounts
"Of course it helps, Drift. Every bit does." His pinions relax as Drift approaches, the other's grin kindling a matching one on his own face. The swordsmech's adroit tossing of the rations was a charming bit of showing off, which Drift absolutely had earned. And it was flattering, Wing thought, to be shown off to.
"Thank you for suggesting it, Drift. We all need to come together--we're all Cybertronians, and we need, I think, to really see that."
no subject
"And we need every bit, now." That matching grin gives him hope though: they can be in this together right? He's not alone anymore. And if Drift makes achievements in showing off when not even trying, actual bona fide attempts might end in true disaster.
"I just. I don't want to see anyone suffer. Ya know...." A shrug, he doesn't need to go into detail grisly right?
no subject
"We need more than just fuel, though, Drift. We need each other." In anyone else's mouth that might have sounded impossibly saccharine. Wing, though, has better shot of pulling it off through the sheer powers of Sincerity.
"I know. There's already been too much suffering for our kind. And this time, well, the organics could be hurt."
no subject
But here, at least, he's not doing that alone.
And that might sound impossibly saccharine to any other, more jaded, mech. But to Drift? It's like music, a veritable chorus of truth and togetherness. "We do...." Also he might, for one mooning moment, not be including ANYone else in that 'we'.
But OOPS, right, there are other Cybertronians here he's supposed to be sharing this with. *COUGH*
"There is, I want to make up for some of that. Even in just this small way," Oops, he might be living in the past a little there. HABIT. "That's the last thing I want, for anyone to get hurt."

"Wing, right?" Drift had mentioned that's who'd be hosting this little get together. While being more Drift about it than he'd seen him about most things here. "I guess. For being suck someplace facing the risk of starvation with Megatron."
See? Absolutely not sulking and putting his best foot forward. Like one does.
no subject
"Yes, Wing." He turns up the wattage on his smile. "It's good to meet you." He knows who Rodimus is, at least through Drift. How many mechs with flames could there be? "Megatron seems reasonable to me?" He's not arguing--yet. He's had only one conversation with him. "Do you know know something I don't?"
no subject
But that changes to squinting, because is this other guy for real? "You mean besides the fact he's Megatron?" Rodimus thought that one would have been obvious. It's not every day you end up in a confined space with the leader of the side you've been fighting for four million years and even more rare that he's not only talking like he's an Autobot but the captain of his ship. Or whatever 'our crew' was supposed to imply.
no subject
"I know, but back in the beginning of the war Megatron was certainly no worse than, say, Zeta Prime." Honestly, in his mind, Autobots are just as culpable as Decepticons. "And the war is not here. In fact, he says the war is over."

Drift
But, besides that, Drift's happy to be here. Happy to be among his people again (plus Starscream), happy to be among friends (minus Starscream?). He's laid out his own supply of rations on the table, for once thankful that exile had made his food-stashing habit more pronounced. And he might be standing awkwardly at the table, wishing he at least had a glass to keep his hands busy, watching to make sure everyone gets a fair share.
no subject
"You know I can't tell which one is worse," a gesture towards Starscream by way of introduction. "This one or the one that's currently ruling Cybertron."
Did no one mention that? Rodimus is sure he's already dropped that bomb.
BARGES IN HERE
Yeah, he will just stroll on up right after Rodimus gestures at him and just wraps an arm around the red Autobot's shoulders like they were the bestest buddies ever.
The truth? If he's going to be here, he might as well harass whoever he can. Besides, he figures he can just stand behind Megatron if things get out of hand.
D:<
But that's when Starscream comes along, as if summoned but the criticism. Drift just stares flatly for a moment before answering Rodimus. "I don't know, can we decide based on proximity?"
RUDE
"Are we going to have to lay some ground rules? It's not Hot Rod," he knows they've been over this and he's going to keep correcting Starscream until it sticks. "And don't touch me." You'll scuff his paint, Screamer, and that would be awful.
But now that he's brushed the Decepticon away, he can give his full attention back where it belongs. At least for the moment. "Sure." A half shrug and a half grin. "And this one's bound to screw up eventually on account of being Starscream."
Rodimus is banking on some things remaining the same between the universes.

Megatron
that's exactly what he had said to Drift and yet he's here anyway. Putting Megatron into a room with Starscream and Rodimus? that is very dangerous indeed. alas, Drift and his weak reasoning that he really does need to be there as a fellow Cybertronian actually has some merit. that's why Megatron is present, just lingering. granted, the ex-warlord is pretty hard to miss and there aren't a lot of them there, but Megatron much prefers to not show much interest in what's going on. ]
no subject
Which is why he runs into him - catching himself from smacking his helm on the other's frame just in time. Which also means Rodimus is full of a horrible, terrible sense of deja vu. This time with no Matrix to give him that extra edge. Of survival. Recovery, however, is key. Which is why it's near instantaneous and his frown is directed upwards. Where he assumes Megatron's face is - which is more guesswork than he'd like due to being so short in comparison and walking smack into him. )
What are you doing here?
( Yes, great recovery. Not like he's here for the same thing everyone else is. )
no subject
but now? now he wishes he can simply because the kid is that annoying. ]
Same as you, I imagine. I was invited as it were.
[ smug grin. SUCH A SMUG GRIN. ]
no subject
( Can he punch that grin off of Megatron's face? Please? Rodimus thinks it would be the most satisfying thing he's done recently. )
no subject
[ because good lord, Rodimus. everyone hates Starscream. the only person that likely doesn't want the guy dead is likely Rattrap and even that is debatable. but that's hardly the point... ]
Drift is doing what we should be, Rodimus. The war is over. My side lost. Our focus shouldn't be on the past, but the future - one that we cannot hope to make without reuniting as a race. [ really. GROW UP. ] Besides... Even your own best friend - who you let take the blame for your actions - was once a Decepticon not too different from myself. He can change... Why is it so hard to believe that I am incapable of it as well? Bumblbee believed that I could.
[ a careless shrug. ]
I don't want to let him down. My... friend's faith shouldn't be misplaced. It would dishonor everything he tried to stand for.

Starscream
And that one guy who didn't have any faction symbols but he might as well be an Autobot anyway.
"This is the most boring get-together ever."
Seriously, what is that music?
Starscream
Wing grins. "I'll take boring over a brawl." Which is what he'd expected bringing mechs of the different factions together.
no subject
But when he did he quirked an optic ridge and stared down at him.
"You're shorter than I expected."
no subject
Wing is used to larger mechs: Dai Atlas, Axe, both towered over him. "Is that so strange? I'm the same height as Drift."
no subject
"You're a flier. Your pointy friend I assume is a ground vehicle. Usually there is a size difference there."
